Mysteries Schools for the study of ancient traditions have been the guiding spiritual influence for humanity throughout our history on Mother Earth.

They have existed since early Egyptian times.

‘School’ refers to a different form of education - Earth and the Cosmos is the classroom, sacred sites are a cosmic library.

Trees and mountains, Mother Earth, Father Sun, Sister Moon, and brother Stars are the Teachers and Spirit sets the path we take.

The Sun and Serpent Maya Mysteries School is one of a number of worldwide Maya Mysteries Schools formed at the invitation of the Itza Maya Council in 1995. After many years of study and initiations with Maya wisdom teachers, elders and shamans Mikhail and Alloa Patricia were honoured to be invited to form this Mysteries School in England. Whilst in England, the Mysteries School held regular monthly open meetings for study purposes, produced ‘Kinsight’, now an e mail newsletter and facilitated three major festivals in Glastonbury under the banner ‘Mayan Dreamtime Festivals’. Proceeds of these festivals were donated to Maya Indigenous projects. The next Festival, Maya Dreamtime 2012 is planned for May 2008.

The Mysteries School has relocated to a beautiful mountainside in Andalucia, Spain where we facilitate a number of deep shamanic experiences for people who express a keenness to live their lives in a more meaningful way. It is also a centre for peace and stillness where individuals can enjoy retreating from their day-to-day fast pace of life and reconnect with their true self.
