Our Vision
The organizers of the Dreamtime Festival hold a threefold vision in their hearts
Many omens indicate we are living in end times – The Maya Long Count calendar shows we are in the last years of a 13 Baktun calendar cycle, a period of 5,125.36 years whose beginning and end was envisioned by Maya calendar shamans. Their count of time led to a date that equates to the solstice date of 21st December 2012. The interplay and alignment of events, natural and man-made revealing themselves to humanity also suggests a pattern, which is building toward 2012 and beyond.
The Maya Elders speak of the times leading up to 2012 as setting the pattern for the new calendar count commencing in 2013. Globally our civilization is being led down an unsustainable path. There are new possibilities for humanity if we follow the sacred guidance provided by Great Father Sun and Mother Earth
